CARIBBEAN STUD POKER
Caribbean Stud Poker is a five-card poker game.
Object of the Game:
To have a higher ranking poker hand than the croupier.
How to Play:
To begin, players must place an ante bet in the space provided. The croupier deals five cards, face down, to each player and four cards face down and one face up to himself. Players examine their cards and decide if they want to remain in the game. The players must then decide to remain in the game or either fold their hand and forfeit the ante wager. When players decide to remain in the game they must place a wager in the “Bet” box in an amount equal to double the ante wager. After all players at the table have made their decisions, the croupier will turn over (expose) his/ her four face-down cards thereby exposing all five cards.
In order for the game to continue the croupier must be holding an Ace/King or better (hereafter called a qualifying hand). If the croupier does not have a qualifying hand then the game ends and players who have remained in the game win only the ante bet and are paid at the rate of 1 to 1.
If the croupier qualifies then his hand is compared with the player’s hands. Players who have placed a wager in the “Bet” box and have remained in the game who have a higher ranking hand than the Dealer are paid as follows for their “Bet” wager and even money on their ante wager.
